Children engage in academic learning daily so as to develop a strong, sound foundation for successful Primary Education. However, HANIS also puts importance on fun and creative learning. Many outlets for discovery and creativity are provided through our daily Circle Time activities and weekly Thematic Wednesdays. Music & Movement, Rhymes & Poetry, Storytelling & Dramatisation and Moral Education are the circle time activities that aim to encourage children to apply and experiment their academic learning through collaboration and enjoyment.
Thematic Wednesdays consist of Indoor Games, Art & Craft, Show & Tell and Field Trips which combines themed knowledge with physical and creative play.

What is Montessori ?
Montessori is a method of education which provides children with self-directed, hands of learning and collaborative play. Our students are able to take charge and make creative choices in their learning. Children work in groups and individually to discover and explore knowledge of the world and to develop their maximum potential.
Are your programmes individualised ?
Yes, children will work through the Montessori checklist at their own pace. Each child will be at different stages and teachers will encourage them to progress through as much content as they are able to master.
Does your Kinder Graduates programme prepare children for Madrasah Primary Education ?
Yes, we are proud to report that all of our students are well prepared for the entrance tests for local Madrasahs and have gained entry to their desired schools.
How can I get involved in my classroom?
When will registration close ?
Registration is accepted on a first-come-first serve basis. Once the class is full, registration will be closed.
How do I register my child ?

What payment do I need to make during registration ?
A non-refundable registration fee of $200 is payable upon registration. This is payable via electronic transfer. The Checklist of Payment is also payable via electronic transfer or CDA to confirm your child's enrolment.
What is the Checklist of Payment (C.O.P) ?
Kindergarten
The initial payment during registration is called the Checklist Of Payment (C.O.P). The C.O.P includes the school and transport deposits, 2 months school and transport fees, material fees, snack fees, Developmental Portfolio, uniforms, books, etc. That would be at an estimate of $2500, depending on the needs of the parents. Full payment of the COP has to be made to confirm your child’s slot in our school.
Childcare
The initial payment during registration is called the Checklist Of Payment ( C.O.P ). The items on the C.O.P are compulsory purchases for the year ( which may include the school and transport deposits, 2 months school and transport fees, material fees, snack fees, insurance, Developmental Portfolio, uniforms, books, etc ). The C.O.P for the kindergarten programme will be different to that of the childcare programme. Do download our registration package for the full list. Full payment of the C.O.P has to be made to confirm your child’s slot in our school.

Are there any subsidies available ?
Kindergarten
Unfortunately, as we are a private kindergarten, we are not eligible for any government subsidies other than the use of your child's CDA.

What language do you teach in ?
We provide 3 Montessori programmes; English Montessori, Arabic Montessori and Malay Montessori programmes.
How is the classroom set up like ?
Discoverers, Explorers & Challengers
Our Discoverers, Explorers and Challengers work in an open environment where they are able to choose and work with the materials independently.
Kinder Juniors
Our Kinder Juniors will begin their transition to a classroom based environment where they will work with 50% Montessori material and 50% workbook based activities. The Kinder Juniors curriculum will be an advanced continuation of the Montessori programmes from Challengers.
Kinder Graduates
Our Kinder Graduates will be geared up for Primary preparations. The curriculum is adapted from MOE's Primary One syllabus, where children will be working on our English, Arabic, and Malay booklets. Their curriculum also comprises of reading sessions, journal writing, storyboards, dictionary, spelling and hands-on activities.
What other activities do children engage in ?
We aim to provide children with a rounded curriculum, Children engage in weekly Circle Time activities which comprises of Music & Movement, Rhymes & Poetry, Storytelling & Dramatisation and Moral Education. Thematic Wednesdays allows children to take part in indoor Games, Art & Craft, Show & Tell and Field trips. All of these activities are related to the Theme of the Month, exposing children to a wide range of topics and knowledge. Termly water play sessions are also part of our program.
When will registration open ?
Kindergarten : Registration opens every March for the following year's intake. Childcare : Registration to be done 2 months prior to the intended start date.

How can I make an appointment ?

When will my child's enrolment be confirmed ?
Your child's enrolment will be confirmed upon full payment of the Checklist of Payment (C.O.P).
Do you provide transport ?
Transportation services are available and transport fee is based on your pick up location. To enquire on the monthly transport fee for your child, do email us with the pick up location and we will be able to advise you further.
How do I pay the Checklist of Payment via CDA ?
We will provide you with the CDA GIRO Form ( to be collected from the centre ) and assist you in filling up the form. Only the trustee of the CDA will be able to sign the form. Do return the hardcopy of the CDA GIRO Form to us for processing. Deduction will take place once the form has been approved. When the deduction of the C.O.P is successful, a Letter of Confirmation will be emailed to you, confirming your child's enrolment in our school.
What are the payment terms and conditions of your school ?
A copy of some of the important terms and conditions is attached to all of the Registration Packages, under Terms and Conditions page, The full terms and conditions can be found in the HANIS Handbook on LittleLives, a Student Management System used by the school. Login details will be provided once your child's enrolment is confirmed.
What is payable via CDA ?
The monthly school and transport fees as well as the Checklist of Payment (C.O.P) can be paid via CDA. Other items such as concert participation and event vouchers and tickets are payable via electronic transfer only.
